Arvind Kejriwal welcomed the saints by giving them saffron clothes. The saints also praised Kejriwal for the advertisement of 18 thousand rupees.
“Today we are blessed to receive the blessings of Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Yogeshwaracharya Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru Swami Avdhesh Prapannacharya Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri Madhur Das Ji Maharaj and all other saints and acharyas. Their presence and blessings will be extremely inspiring for us”, wrote Arvind Kejriwal on X
Minutes after the announcement, the Bhartiya Janata Party launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday, accusing it of hypocrisy and terming it an “electoral Hindu” in a post on X. The BJP alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal-led government has been “distributing salaries to Imams for 10 years” while now attempting to court Hindu voters with pre-poll promises.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal said, ‘BJP has a temple cell. Which kept making promises from time to time but they did nothing. Aam Aadmi Party does what it says. Even if we delayed announcing it a little. If we announce it, the tradition of Raghukul will always continue. Even if life goes, the promise should not go. We will do what we say. We will implement it after the elections. We will get guidance from all the saints and people of Sanatan Dharma.
