New Delhi: The terrifying murder of Shraddha Walker has numbed the nation. The accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala is now in police remand which ends tomorrow. He will be produced in the Saket court tomorrow. As the Delhi Police is running out of time to conduct a Narco test on the accused, they were to do it today. But the test has again been delayed as the police team said that they would do a Polygraph test before they conduct the Narco test.

Forensic Science Laboratory Assistant Director Sanjeev Gupta said, “We are not conducting the narco test on Aaftab today.” Another Assistant Director of the FSL, Punit Puri said they will conduct a Polygraphic test first. “It will be followed by medical tests and after these only, the narco will be performed. Within 10 days, narco will be done”, he said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has found out that Aaftab used his live-in partner Shraddha’s phone number to book a fridge of 300 liters which he used to store her cut body pieces. The police are also going to question a famous five-star hotel in Mumbai where Aaftab had interned as a chef.

The accused was a trained chef and so he could cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces after brutally killing her. He threw the parts into a nearby forest. The police have recovered some fragments of the jaw and skull in their latest search operations. More such operations are underway to recover the bodily remains of Shraddha Walker. According to Police sources, the accused shows no signs of remorse and he keeps smiling as the police investigate the case further.
