May 1, 2025 | New Delhi — Gold and silver prices dipped on Wednesday, with trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) paused during the day in observance of Maharashtra Day and Labour Day. Despite the closure, price updates were released, reflecting a downward trend in both metals.
The MCX will resume operations today from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM for the evening session.
