Talegaon: A college student has been killed in Talegaon, Pune when a group of 20-25 people stabbed him with an iron rod and crossbow. The deceased, Pranav alias Jai Mandekar (19) was in the first year of B.Com studying at Indrayani College.
The Talegaon Police have detained some people for questioning in the case. Pranav had gone out to celebrate at a friend’s birthday along with one of his friends. The young man who was with Pranav got into an argument over the phone.
According to the information given by the police, Pranav left home saying it was friend’s birthday and when his mother called him at 9:30 PM, he had finished his meal and was leaving.
Meanwhile, a gang of 20-25 people came there to kill the young man whom Pranav was arguing and killed Pranav thinking of him as the friend’s accomplice.
