Raipur. According to a notification issued by the Transport Department in Chhattisgarh, the Raipur Automobile Dealers Association is organizing the Auto Expo-2026 from January 20 to February 5 at Shri Ram Business Park, opposite MGM Hospital, Vidhan Sabha Road, Saddu Raipur. The Transport Department is providing a one-time 50 percent lifetime tax (RTO tax) exemption on vehicles sold at the said Auto Expo, which will provide huge financial benefits to the common citizens of the state.
Auto Expo 2026 is being held from January 20th to February 5th, 2026, at Shri Ram Business Park, Raipur. Customers purchasing vehicles during this period will receive a direct benefit of a 50 percent RTO tax discount. This is the state’s first auto expo, which will benefit citizens throughout Chhattisgarh. People will not need to travel to Raipur to purchase vehicles; instead, they will be able to avail this scheme through participating/registered dealers nearest to their city or village.
Under Auto Expo 2026, all citizens will have the opportunity to register their vehicles in their home district. This means that the purchased vehicle will receive the registration mark (RTO code) of the transport office of their home district. Dealers from remote areas are also participating in this Auto Expo, which will provide employment opportunities for small businesses and boost local trade. The Raipur Auto Expo will provide the people of Chhattisgarh with the opportunity to view, test, and select all types of vehicle models and new models equipped with the latest technology, all under one roof. This will also provide the public with the latest automobile technologies.
Financiers and banks providing vehicle loans at the lowest rates
At the Raipur Auto Expo 2026, various financiers and banks across the country are offering vehicle loans at the lowest rates, while insurance companies are providing vehicle insurance at the lowest rates. This will provide additional financial benefits to citizens purchasing vehicles. Along with a 50 percent discount on RTO taxes at the Auto Expo 2026, competition among finance companies, banks, insurance companies, and various dealers will make vehicles available at the lowest rates, providing widespread financial relief to the general public.
