Tirupati: Bodies of a man and a woman was found tied inside a gunny bag in a well in Yerra Gangannapalli village in Chowdepalli mandal in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh today. With the help of locals, the police could fish the bodies.
Sources reveal that the deceased were lovers who were killed by unidentified miscreants who later dumped the bodies in the well. The identity of deceased has not been identified yet.
“We believe that the man could be aged 25 years and the woman should be aged 20 years. We are looking at all missing cases reported across the district in the recent times”, said Chowpalli police.
The police has taken the bodies for post-mortem and registered a case to launch an investigation into the double murder.
