YOUTUBE DOWN: Video streaming platform YouTube is down in many countries of the world including America and Canada. About 3 lakh people have reported its downtime on DownDetector and most of them have reported issues with the app. According to DownDetector, a website that monitors internet outages, most of the users are complaining about the app downloading. About 16 percent of the users have complained about video streaming being down and 10 percent have complained about issues with the website.
Numerous reports indicate that the outage has affected Canada, the United Kingdom, and several other countries, including the United States. People are complaining about this on social media. Several reports also indicate that YouTube is down in India. Users also report that Google, AWS, and Cloudflare are down, along with YouTube.
TeamYouTube has acknowledged the service downtime. A statement said, “We are looking into the issue. We don’t have a fix yet, but we are monitoring it closely. We will continue to update users.” Google’s support page also stated, “We are aware of the issue with the YouTube homepage, recommendations, and search, and are working to resolve it.” However, the company has not yet stated how long it may take to resolve the issue.
