In an attempt to limit fake accounts on Twitter, Elon Musk has said that the microblogging platform will soon roll out new features that will enable organizations to identify accounts associated with them.

Taking the platform on Sunday, Musk not giving insights into the development wrote- Twitter will enable organizations to identify which other accounts are actually associated with them.

In a sequence of Tweets, the Tesla chief also apologized for how slow Twitter was in some nations. He wrote, “Btw, I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!”

The company for now has paused its blue tick subscription service since Friday as fake accounts sprouted including those from brands like Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX, Nestle, and Lockheed Martin. It, however, reintroduced the “Official” gray verification badge for high-profile accounts like brands and celebrities.
