Along with that, the application is also down for some users from different parts of the world. Till now, more than 800 users have complained about the Instagram down but there is no response from the developers.
Many users have also reported that they are facing issues with the reels section of the application. Instagram is facing these problems from 10:04 PM EDT, according to the users. Most of the users who have been affected by Instagram down, are from the USA and its nearby regions.
The cause of the glitch and outage is currently unknown, and Instagram has not yet released a statement regarding the issue. However, the social media platform has acknowledged the issue on its official Twitter account, stating that it is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it as soon as possible.
This is not the first time Instagram has faced technical issues. In March 2021, the platform experienced a global outage that lasted for several hours, affecting millions of users worldwide. The outage was caused by a problem with the platform’s servers, and Instagram apologized for the inconvenience caused to its users.
