Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited his first school, Thangar, Pauri district Uttarakhand, where he studied from Class 1 to 5 on Saturday. It was also his first visit to the school since taking up the post of chief minister. Addressing the students, teachers, and parents, he stressed the use of the upgraded educational infrastructure towards a better future.
“The school has good infrastructure created. Furthermore, the computer, online and smart classes, as well as modern science laboratories, are available now. Now, teachers and parents have to tell students to take the best advantage of these resources,” he said.
The Chief Minister also appealed to parents to ensure that their children go to school regularly to take advantage of advancements. Education is an important pillar of our national development, and collective efforts from the government and society improve the situation.
It is not just the government’s responsibility to build a nation but also society’s. He added, “When society works with the government, results are far more effective.”
Yogi Adityanath last visited the school when he was a member of parliament from Gorakhpur. His return to the school as Chief Minister was emotional and major, for it concerned the significance of education in rural areas.
The renovated primary school in Thangar is expected to offer modern learning facilities, and under these improved facilities, the students in the region will now have better educational opportunities. The visit signalled the state government’s intent to fortify the education system further and ignite youthful imaginations to realize their truest potential.
