Five individuals lost their lives in a devastating collision on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura. According to Mathura’s Senior Superintendent of Police, Shailesh Dubey, the accident occurred early Monday morning when a passenger bus, carrying 40 people from Bihar to Delhi, collided with a car near the Mahawan area.

While all passengers aboard the bus escaped unharmed, those in the car were tragically killed as both vehicles erupted in flames post-collision. Initial investigations suggest that the bus veered into a divider on the expressway due to a burst tire, leading to the collision with the Swift car.

SSP Mathura, in his statement, confirmed the grim fate of the car’s occupants, stating that all five were charred to death. While one victim has been identified and their family informed, efforts to ascertain the identities of the other victims are ongoing.
