UP BJP President Election: Nominations will be filed today for the new BJP president in Uttar Pradesh. Election Officer Dr. Mahendra Nath has released the voter list for the state president and national councilors. This list includes a total of 464 voters, including 425 state council members, 5 Lok Sabha MPs, 8 MLCs, 26 MLAs, and presidents of districts and metropolitan areas.
Election in-charge Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey will submit nomination papers today. Nominations will be held at the BJP office between 2 and 3 pm. After that, the process of withdrawing nomination papers will take place from 4 pm to 5 pm.
For the election of the state president, nomination papers will be taken in the presence of the party’s national general secretary and central election observer Vinod Tawde. In view of the election of the new BJP president in UP, Vinod Tawde will reach the airport today at 12 noon and will go directly to the BJP office (UP BJP President Election). For the election of the state president, the central election officer, Union Minister Piyush Goyal will complete the election process on December 14 and the election of the state president will be completed.
The names of Pankaj Chaudhary and BL Verma are being discussed.
According to sources, the new president of the Uttar Pradesh BJP is likely to be from the OBC community. Among the names most likely to become state presidents are Union Ministers Pankaj Chaudhary and BL Verma. Both belong to the OBC Kurmi community. Dharampal Singh, from the Lodhi community, and Ram Shankar Katheria, from the Dalit community, are also prominent names. The new president of Uttar Pradesh will be announced before December 16th, before the beginning of the Khar month.
