Lucknow. After Operation Sindoor, a red alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh. Tight security arrangements have been made across the state. DGP Prashant Kumar has given strict guidelines for the security of citizens and important establishments across the state. Instructions have been given to keep a close watch on army activities and strategic locations, monitor gas and oil pipelines and audit police premises.

DGP Prashant Kumar said that the safety of citizens is of utmost importance to us. For which strict vigil is being kept on sensitive areas, strategic locations and all important establishments. No negligence is being taken in security. The DGP directed keeping a close watch on security points and army movement. Additional security arrangements have been made on the state border. He has said to pay special attention to important structures like oil pipelines and gas.

Prashant Kumar further said that all the districts of the state will have to make strong security arrangements in their respective jurisdictions with immediate effect. He said that for this, orders have been given to audit police premises, vehicles, and other resources. Apart from this, the army, local administration, and other security agencies have been asked to establish coordination. Full preparations are being made to give a quick response in case of an emergency.
