Ayodhya. A historic event is set to take place in the city of Lord Shri Ram on the occasion of Nav Samvatsara (New Year). Preparations for the ceremony have begun. President of India Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest for this special ceremony to be held at the Ram Temple complex. Approximately five thousand distinguished guests will also be present. The President will spend approximately four hours in the Ram Temple complex. She will also inaugurate the Shri Ram Yantra and the Shri Ram Naam Mandir on the second floor of the temple. Significantly, for the first time, the temple committee has planned to keep darshan (visiting) during a major event.
According to reports, the rituals will begin at 9 a.m. on March 19th. Fifty-one Vedic Acharyas from South India, Kashi, and Ayodhya will conduct the rituals. All rituals will be conducted under the leadership of Padma Bhushan Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri, Acharya of Kashi. Extensive preparations are underway for the event. In addition to strengthening security, special attention will be paid to welcoming guests, seating arrangements, parking, and smooth traffic flow.

According to the Trust, the installation of the Shri Ram Yantra will infuse new spiritual energy into the religious activities on the second floor of the temple. This Yantra is considered a symbol of Shri Ram’s power, dignity, and national consciousness. The President’s presence will elevate the event to national significance. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust held a meeting to prepare for the Nav Samvatsar celebrations, scheduled for March 19th, the beginning of the Hindu New Year. The event’s outline, guest arrangements, convenience for devotees, security, cleanliness, and traffic management were discussed in detail.
