A massive explosion took place in a firecracker factory in Saharanpur on Saturday morning. Many workers have died in this accident. The explosion was so loud that its sound was heard even in the nearby villages. The reasons for the blast are being investigated.

According to the information, at the time of the blast, about 9 people were present in the factory. After the blast, many got buried under the debris. Body parts were seen scattered around the spot. At present, the rescue operation is going on at the spot. It is being told that the explosion was so strong that the ground shook. It felt as if an earthquake had occurred. The incident spot is Nihal Khedi village, which is about 50 km from the district headquarters and about 8 km from Deoband.

A firecracker factory was operating on one bigha of land in Nihalkhedi village on National Highway-59. According to local people, a fire suddenly broke out in the factory at 7 am on Saturday, then several explosions took place one after the other. The explosion was so severe that the people working inside did not get a chance to come out. Within a few seconds, the entire building collapsed due to the explosion.

People working in the factory were buried under the rubble. The sound of the explosion was heard up to 2 km away. When the explosion happened, it felt as if there was an earthquake. Thousands of people from nearby villages reached the spot. Forces from many police stations are deployed on the spot.
