Following the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was thrown open to the public for darshan on January 23. The temple witnessed a heavy rush outside as devotees gathered to pray. A massive crowd thronged the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as the grand temple opened its doors for devotees to offer prayers on Tuesday morning, a day after the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla.
Devotees gathered in large numbers since 3am to have darshan (viewing) of the new Ram Lalla idol on the first morning after the consecration ceremony.
Devotees will be able to see the new idol along with the idol seated in the sanctum sanctorum. If the crowd increases, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will extend the period of darshan. Devotees can now witness the divine presence of Ram Lalla from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, offering an extended timeframe for darshan. However, adhering to a brief pause, the temple will temporarily close its doors for darshan from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm daily.
