Prayagraj: A special Cabinet meeting of the Uttar Pradesh government, headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is scheduled on Wednesday in Prayagraj. Along with the devotees, the chief minister and his whole cabinet will participate in the Mahakumbh festivities.
All 54 of the Uttar Pradesh cabinet’s ministers have been called to the meeting, which is anticipated to adopt a number of important plans and ideas for the state, according to an official statement, which was reported by the media.
The meeting, which was originally supposed to take place in the Mela Authority Auditorium, has been moved to the Triveni Sankul in Arail. It will now begin at midday. Due to VIP security, the venue was altered to prevent any disruption to pilgrims who were visiting the Sangam. Yogi Adityanath and the whole cabinet will take a holy bath in the Triveni Sangam’s holy waters after the meeting.
It is Yogi’s second time leading his cabinet to the Sangam. Along with other saints, his ministers, and Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri, he participated in a ceremonial dip during the 2019 Kumbh Mela.

On February 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to travel to the Mahakumbh, where he would pray, conduct aarti of the river, and take a holy dip in the Ganga. He could thereafter go to pray at Saraswati Koop, Akshayvat, and Bade Hanuman Mandir. Modi is also expected to pay tribute to the workforce that made Mahakumbh magnificent and holy.

Official sources claimed that apart from the minute-to-minute protocol, all approvals have been received from the PMO. On Basant Panchami, on 3rd February, after the last Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh, Naga Sadhus of all the 13 Akharas will come out of the tent city.
