The last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which will cover 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh along with an assembly bypoll for Dadra and Nagar Haveli, is on today. Voting commenced at 7 AM, with a voter turnout of 11.67% recorded by 9 AM. However, the voters of 13 constituencies from Shahjahanpur to Akbarpur and from Bahraich to Kanpur keenly anticipate being present for the voting process.

Akbarpur records 12.16%, Bahraich at 14.04%, Daurala at 13.96%, Etawah at 7.06%, Farrukhabad at 13.15%, Hardoi at 13.17%, Kannauj at 14.23%, Kanpur at 7.84%, Khiri at 12.21%, Mishrikh at 12.92%, Shahjahanpur at 5.94%, Sitapur at 14.28%, and Unnao at 11.85%. The fate of 130 candidates, including 16 women, will be decided by the 2,47,47,027 voters in these 13 constituencies.
A number of well-known contenders, for instance, Akhilesh Yadav from Kannauj and Sakshi Maharaj from Unnao, are participating, thus making these elections very important. There has been an increase in voter turnout during the electioneering period, with long queues at polling stations numbered even before daybreak.
