Hardoi: The nodal officer of the health department raided private hospitals in Mallawan, Hardoi. As soon as the information was received, there was panic among the operators. Private hospital operators closed the shutters and ran away.
Nodal Dr. Manoj Kumar of the Health Department of Hardoi district reached the town on Wednesday due to complaints received about private hospitals in the town. The private hospitals had already received information about the raid. He raided Surya Hospital, Jio Hospital, City Hospital, Bharat Hospital, Singh Hospital of the town, but the hospitals were already closed.
Faheem Clinic in Bajiganj and Naeem Clinic in Bhagwantnagar were found open. The nodal officer investigated and directed to bring the documents to Hardoi. Dozens of private hospitals and testing centers are running in the area these days, complaints of irregularities are being made from CHC to CMO office.
On the basis of these complaints, the nodal officer inspected the private hospitals on the orders of CMO Dr. Rohtas Kumar. However, as soon as he returned, the operators opened the hospitals again. In this regard, nodal officer Dr. Manoj Kumar said that during the raid, all the hospitals were found closed. Surprise inspections will be conducted in future as well.
