Lucknow: Two people have died due to a diarrhea outbreak in Lucknow, including a 12-year-old girl and a 55-year-old woman. Both the deceased were residents of Indira Nagar Takrohi. The health department has become alert in view of the increasing cases of diarrhea.

A 12-year-old girl died of diarrhea in Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, while a 55-year-old woman died in a private hospital in Barabanki. These incidents have created panic in the Indira Nagar Takrohi area.

Diarrhea cases are continuously increasing in Lucknow. The health department has given instructions to exercise special caution in view of the increasing diarrhea outbreak in the area. Along with this, steps are being taken to ensure cleanliness and provision of clean drinking water in the affected areas.

Malaria & Diarrhea Wreck Havoc In Bilaspur

Malaria and diarrhea are current health problems within the district, greatly impacting the residents of the particular area. As a result of this social health crisis, the authorities have been pressured to apprehend “quacks” – unqualified doctors. In a recent crackdown, the forty-five clinics run by these unauthorized medical practitioners were closed across the regions.

Of these, 17 clinics were closed in Bilha, 12 in Kota, and 8 each in Takhatpur and Bilaspur. Two people were found offering health services within their residential premises under the pretext of managing business shops; two patients were receiving treatment when the bust was affected.
