Lucknow: In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly’s budget session on Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22. During this, without mentioning the name of the Gyanvapi mosque, he stated that everyone witnessed the festivities in Ayodhya. Following this, Nandi Baba questioned why they should wait, promptly removing barricades overnight. Now, Yogi questioned the acceptance of our Krishna Kanhaiya. The Chief Minister’s reference was linked to the recent removal of barricades at the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi, complying with a court order to initiate worship.
Adityanath, targeting opposition parties, particularly the Samajwadi Party (SP), asked why there is controversy over the development of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi. He inquired why broader roads, airports, and railway stations were not developed there earlier. The Chief Minister criticized the opposition’s focus on the temple issue being resolved in court while questioning the reluctance to support the development of these cities.
Drawing a parallel to the Mahabharata, Yogi Adityanath targeted the opposition, stating that the Pandavas sought only five villages from Duryodhana, while the people of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi demanded these cities despite facing centuries of struggle. He emphasized the significance of these cities, not just as urban centers but as sacred places. Yogi asserted that their government fulfilled promises, exemplified by the majestic Ram temple in Ayodhya. He expressed satisfaction that Ayodhya’s ancient glory has been restored.
Yogi Adityanath’s statements showcase his commitment to regional development and cultural preservation, emphasizing the importance of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi as sacred and historical sites. The Chief Minister’s remarks also underscore the government’s efforts to fulfill its promises and restore cultural heritage, particularly evident in the completion of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
