Hathras: After 121 people were killed in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras in a deadly stampede at Satsang, Bhole Baba gave an on-camera statement for the first time. The self pro-claimed godman who was a former constable claimed that he was deeply saddened by the incident.
Bhole Baba Satsang attracted more than 2.5 lakh devotees. The chaos began when crowd began to collect dust from the ground where Baba Bhole’s card had passed. This chaotic scene led to men, women, and children. According to the Uttar Pradesh Police, management was responsible for the chaos as the gathering was far exceeded the 80000 person limit set by the authorities.
“I am deeply saddened by the incident. May go give us strength to bear the pain”, said Bhole Baba who is originally named as Suraj Pal Singh. “Keep faith in the government and administration as anyone who created the ruckus will not be spared”, he further added.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, Aligarh, Shalabh Mathur said that six individuals have been arrested in the Hathras stampede case. A reward of R. 1 lakh has been announced to anyone who gives information about the key accused, Prakash Madhukar.
Bhole Baba is also known by the names of Narayan Sakar Hari and Jagat Guru Vishwahari. Sources reveal that he has 24 ashrams and assets worth Rs. 100 crores.
