Nag Panchami is highly recognized in Hindu religion. It is believed that snakes are deities and if they are worshipped, then Kalsarp Dosh is removed, one gets rid of snake fear, and obstacles like snakebite are removed. In such a situation, devotees worship Nag Dev with full devotion. On Nag Panchami, along with Nag Devta, worship of Lord Shiva also has special significance.

CM Yogi Adityanath has extended his heartfelt wishes of ‘Nag Panchami’ to the people of the state. He prayed to Lord Bholenath for the welfare of the people.
CM Yogi wrote on his X handle that heartiest greetings to all the devotees on the holy festival of ‘Naag Panchami’! This festival gives the message of co-existence and compassion towards nature, animal world and the five elements. With the blessings of Lord Bholenath, may everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, harmony and health. This is my prayer.
According to the Panchag, the worship time of Nag Panchami will start from 5:41 am today, which will continue till 8:23 am. Worshipping the snake god in this auspicious time is considered very auspicious. Take a bath this morning and remember Bhole Baba, and then do Jal Abhishek.
