Lucknow: Samajwadi Party’s National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the BJP government regarding unemployment. He shared a video clip from a news channel on social media, directing criticism towards the BJP government. Akhilesh Yadav stated that the unemployed youth in Uttar Pradesh are wandering with their resumes. Still, either they are not finding jobs or, if they do, the positions are significantly below their qualifications.
Emphasizing the plight of unemployed youth, Yadav affirmed the Samajwadi Party’s commitment to providing jobs matching their qualifications. He pledged to ensure that every youth receives a job in line with their capabilities, preventing any damage to their self-esteem and ensuring proper social respect and status.
In the shared video clip, a young individual participating in a debate expressed frustration, mentioning that whenever BJP spokespersons visit Ayodhya and are questioned about employment, they talk about the upcoming restaurants, hotels, and malls, claiming that they would generate jobs for the youth. The youth then revealed that he visited all the restaurants and hotels in the developed Ayodhya, only to find out that BJP supporters filled all managerial positions, while the youth of Ayodhya were only getting waiter jobs.
Akhilesh Yadav’s critique reflects the growing concerns about the quality and availability of jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Samajwadi Party aims to address this issue by promising to prioritize skill-appropriate employment opportunities for the youth, ensuring their dignity and rightful place in society. The video shared by Yadav serves as a poignant representation of the challenges faced by the youth in securing meaningful employment.
