Jaipur: On December 3, the counting for the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections took place. During this process, the results of Udaipur city constituency, among the 8 constituencies in Udaipur, will be announced first. Meanwhile, the results for Salumber constituency will be the last to be revealed, with the counting for Salumber concluding in 25 rounds.

The District Election Officer, Arvind Poswal, issued detailed instructions regarding the counting process. According to the instructions, the counting will commence at 8 AM on December 3 at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Arts College premises. The appointed staff for the counting process must be present at the counting venue by 6:30 AM.

For the counting of the 8 constituencies in Udaipur district, two rooms have been designated. Jhadol constituency will have 14 tables, while Gogunda, Kherwara, Udaipur Gramin Mavli, and Vallabhnagar will each have 12 tables. Udaipur city will have 10 tables, and Salumber will have 9 tables for the counting process.

The counting rounds are set to differ across constituencies. Salumber will have 25 rounds, Kherwara 23, Gogunda, Jhadol, and Vallabhnagar 21 each, Udaipur Gramin and Mavli 19 each, and Udaipur city will complete the counting in 17 rounds.

The number of polling booths for each constituency varies, with 288 in Gogunda, 290 in Jhadol, 314 in Kherwara, 265 in Udaipur Gramin, 216 in Udaipur city, 264 in Mavli, 281 in Vallabhnagar, and 296 in Salumber.

As the counting day of the election approaches, it is essential for the assigned personnel to be present at the counting venue early to ensure a smooth and timely process.
