Jaipur: A terrible road accident has happened in Laxmangarh area of Sikar district of Rajasthan. On the occasion of Dhanteras, a private bus coming from Salasar lost control and collided with a culvert at around 2 pm. 12 people died tragically in this accident, while more than 30 people were injured. The condition of many passengers is said to be critical. The injured have been immediately admitted to the nearby hospitals of Laxmangarh and Sikar.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the bus lost control and hit a culvert. The collision was so severe that one side of the bus was completely damaged, causing panic among the passengers inside. Local people reached the spot and helped in taking the injured passengers out of the bus and sending them to the hospital.
Sikar Superintendent of Police Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav said that as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and relief work was started. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed deep grief over this accident and has directed to ensure proper treatment of the injured. He posted on social media and wrote, “The loss of life in the bus accident in Sikar’s Laxmangarh is extremely sad. My condolences are with the families of the deceased.”
