Jaipur: In the ongoing vote counting of Rajasthan Assembly elections, BJP has secured a majority in the trends. Bharatiya Janata Party is leading on 119 seats, while Congress is leading on 64 seats. The most discussed topic in the elections is that of Prince Diya Kumari, associated with the royal family.
Rajkumar Diya Kumari defeated Sitaram Agarwal of Congress by about 60,000 votes from the Vidyadhar Nagar seat. This will prove to be one of the biggest victories in the Rajasthan Assembly elections. Apart from this, after the 12th round of counting of votes in the Jhalrapatan Assembly, BJP candidate Vasundhara Raje is leading by 48489 votes. Vasundhara Raje got 103010 votes. Whereas Ramlal Chauhan of Congress got 54521 votes.
BJP’s Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has won the election from the Jhotwara Assembly by 50085 votes. Whereas, Congress’s Rita Chaudhary won from Mandawa, BJP MP Narendra Kumar lost. BJP’s Jaswant Yadav won from Behror, and Congress’s Lalit Yadav won from Mundawar. BJP won from Chaksu by 49 thousand votes and Laxman Meena of Congress won from Bassi.
The counting of votes is going on in 230 assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. First of all the counting of postal ballot papers started. After the postal ballot, the votes received in the EVM machine will be counted. After the start of the counting of votes and the first phase of voting, political activities have increased in the capital Bhopal.
