Jaipur: On March 1, 2024, the police revealed the incident of throwing chilli in the eyes of a businessman and snatching a bag containing Rs 33 lakh. In the press conference organized in this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur North Rashi Dogra Dudi said that in four hours, while disclosing the incident of beating up Garv Khandelwal in police station Vidhadharnagar area, putting chilli in his eyes and snatching a bag containing Rs 33 lakhs, The accused have been identified and arrested.

He told that police investigation revealed that complainant Garv Khandelwal has been doing money transactions with Ashish Pediwal in Dhanshree Tower for a long time. Absconding accused Sandeep Singh had information about the business of Ashish Pediwal. Sandeep Singh prepared to carry out the said crime by getting information from Ashish Pediwal’s employee Sunil Mahawar by luring him with some rupees from the looted amount. Absconding accused Sandeep Singh called his former acquaintance accused Karmaveer Meena, Manoj Kumar Kumawat, Lokendra alias Lauki and Vikas Yogi to his TikTok cafe Vidyadharnagar Jaipur and prepared them for robbery and asked all three to stay nearby in Vidyadharnagar Jaipur.

On March 1, accused Sunil Mahawar informed accused Sandeep Singh about the victim taking money from Ashish Pediwal, on which accused Sandeep Singh informed his gang partners Karmaveer Meena, Manoj Kumar Kumawat and absconding accused Vikas Yogi about the incident. Asked to execute. Sandeep Singh had made a complete plan for the robbery and given different tasks to his co-accused.

The arrested Karmaveer was given the task of snatching the bag, Vikas Yogi was given the task of pouring chilli powder in the victim’s eyes and Manoj Kumar Kumawat was given the task of driving the motorcycle. Karmaveer Meena, Manoj Kumar Kumawat and Vikas Yogi came to the spot. Vikas Yogi poured chilli powder in the eyes of the victim and Karmaveer Meena snatched the bag of money from the victim. The accused Manoj Kumar Kumawat fled away from the scene of the crime on a motorcycle. After this he took him to his room in Jhotwada where Sandeep Singh came and Sunil, Sandeep, Lokendra,
Karmaveer, Vikas and Manoj divided the amount among themselves. Sandeep, the main conspirator of the crime, kept most of the looted amount with himself.

After the incident, the accused left home and were absconding at different places under different names. Police teams have also recovered Rs 3 lakh from Sunil Mahawar, Rs 2 lakh from Manoj Kumar Kumawat and Rs 5 lakh from Karmaveer Meena i.e. a total of Rs 10 lakh.
