PM Modi In Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rajasthan on Tuesday to participate in the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ programme, according to the Prime Minister’s office. On the occasion of completing one year in Rajasthan, PM Modi participated in One Year-Result Utkarsh program
“The double engine government is working day and night for the all-round development of Rajasthan. I am happy to be a part of the state government’s ‘One Year-Result Utkarsh’ and inauguration-foundation stone laying program of development works in Jaipur”, wrote PM Modi on X.
As per the PMO, visited the state to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for at least 24 projects worth over Rs 46,300 crore during the event. The event marks the completion of one year of the state government.
The projects that will be inaugurated today in Jaipur cover the energy, road, railway, and water sectors. Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate nine projects worth over Rs 11,000 crore, which include seven central government projects and two state government projects. He will also lay the foundation stone for 15 projects worth over Rs 35,300 crore, which include nine central government projects and six state government projects, the release mentioned.

He will also lay inauguration for Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (PKC-ERCP). This means that from today the water crisis in 21 districts of Rajasthan has ended. Under this project, people will be able to get water from 11 rivers, which they can use for drinking or irrigation.
PKC-ERCP includes major rivers. Such as Chambal and its tributaries Parvati, Kalisindh, Kuno, Banas, Banganga, Ruparel, Gambhiri and Mej. Water will be brought from Navnera Barrage to Galwa Dam. Here water will reach Isarda Dam and Bisalpur Dam in two parts. Water will come to Mej River by building a water bridge on Chambal River from Navnera. From here it will go to the previously built Galwa Dam by pumping. Water will reach Isarda, 31 km from Galwa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of two barrages. Ramgarh Barrage will be constructed on Kool River and Mahalpur Barrage will be constructed on Parvati River.
