Jaipur: Following the election results, the inaugural session of Rajasthan 16th Legislative Assembly commenced on Wednesday. During this session, Unus Khan, an independent candidate who won from the Didwana constituency, left everyone astonished by taking the oath in the Sanskrit language.
On the first day of the maiden session of the 16th State Legislative Assembly, 190 newly elected legislators took the oath as members of the assembly. Protem Speaker Kalicharan Saraf administered the oath to the newly elected members. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was the first to take the oath of membership. Subsequently, Deputy Chief Minister Sushree Diya Kumari and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa also took the oath. Following them, the swearing-in process for all the members commenced.
