Jaipur: India’s COVID-19 active caseload sees a rise of 423, and stands at 3420, according to Union Health Ministry data. Twenty-two cases of COVID-19 sub-variant JN.1 in the country till Thursday, with 21 cases being reported from Goa and another from Kerala.
As soon as the case of a new variant of COVID came to light in Rajasthan, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma came into action. The medical and health department has also become alert after the death of a person due to Corona. The Medical Department has constituted a State Covid Management Team for Covid management in the state.
Giving information about the State Covid Management Team, Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical and Health Department, Shubhra Singh, said that keeping in mind the increase in the number of COVID cases in other states including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, etc. This team was formed for management.
Medical Education Commissioner Shivprasad Nakate has been appointed the nodal officer of the committee. Managing Director RMSCL Anupama Jorwal, Director Public Health Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur, Joint Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency Dr. Gaurav Saini, Atty. Director Rural Health Dr. Ravi Prakash Sharma, Senior Professor of SMS Hospital Dr. Bharti Malhotra, State Nodal Officer of IDSP Dr. Praveen Aswal, Dr. Ajit Singh of RUHS and Deputy Director of Rajmes Dr. Vandana Sharma will be the members of the committee.
In the state, one patient was identified in SMS Hospital, the second in JK Lawn and the third in TB Hospital, who has died. Apart from these, patients have also been found from Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur and Dausa. Earlier on Wednesday, two patients were found corona infected in Jaisalmer also. So far, 5 Corona patients have been found in the state, one of whom has died.
