Pratapgarh: A tragic incident occurred in Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, when a bus collided with a truck on Saturday morning. This unfortunate accident resulted in the loss of four lives and left 20 people injured. The fated bus was carrying passengers from Lamba Dabra village who had recently completed a pilgrimage to a temple.

According to Indrajit, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Suhagpura, the collision took place near the village along the Pratapgarh Banswara highway. The bus collided with a truck that was parked on the road.

The injured individuals were immediately taken to the district hospital, where sadly, four of them were pronounced dead. The remaining 20 individuals are currently receiving treatment and care at the hospital.

This incident serves as a reminder of the risks involved in road travel. In another event on September 13, eleven people from Gujarat lost their lives. 15 others were injured when a trailer struck their bus from behind on the Jaipur Agra Highway in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. The bus was heading towards Mathura in Uttar Pradesh with around 60 passengers onboard when it came to a stop at the Antra flyover in the Lakhanpur area. Subsequently, a trailer collided with it from behind, resulting in this accident.

Five men and six women tragically lost their lives instantly while the injured were quickly taken to RBM Hospital for care. These incidents serve as a reminder of the significance of road safety and responsible driving in order to avoid devastating accidents.
