Controversial spiritual leader Asaram’s health has once again deteriorated while incarcerated in Jodhpur jail. Late Wednesday night, he was rushed to Jodhpur AIIMS for medical treatment, under the supervision of doctors. This comes after a recent hospitalization due to a heart ailment. Asaram, serving time for a rape conviction, had earlier released an audio message from jail addressing his followers. He expressed gratitude for their support and conveyed that despite facing difficulties, he remains resolute in his spiritual path.
In the audio message, Asaram stated, “The troubles I have are not with you right now, and the happiness I possess, you don’t. I came to jail for fresh air; some devotees think I am not here. Everyone is content, and I am not leaving anytime soon; your resolution is working.”
He assured his followers that it was due to their resolution that he was in good health, stating, “Because of your resolution, my health is fine.” While detained, some prison doctors suggested internal machinery issues, prompting a potential examination at AIIMS Jodhpur.
Asaram underscored his unwavering commitment to spiritual pursuits even amid adversity. Despite facing significant challenges, he encouraged his followers to stay steadfast in their spiritual journey. The video concludes with Asaram emphasizing the importance of not abandoning spirituality.
It is noteworthy that Asaram’s son, Narayan Sai, who is also imprisoned in Gujarat, had recently filed a temporary bail plea in the high court seeking permission to meet his ailing father. The court is yet to decide on this matter.
As the spiritual leader’s health continues to be a cause for concern, his messages from jail, legal proceedings, and the dynamics within his ashrams attract ongoing attention.
