Chandigarh: This year, Sri Anandpur Sahib will host a gathering that is being observed with great reverence and pride throughout Punjab. The Punjab government has organized a three-day special religious program to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dayala Ji. The gathering will run from November 23 to 25, 2025, and every moment of it will connect with Sikh history, the legacy of humanity and sacrifice that all of Punjab is proud of. Starting on November 23, the program will commence with a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

In the morning, the Sangat will begin with an Akhand Path (monumental prayer) in the presence of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann and National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal. This will convey the message that devotion and service are paramount in the Sikh tradition. The inauguration of an exhibition on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji will follow this. This exhibition has been specifically designed to educate young people about how and why the Guru Sahiban sacrificed their lives to protect religion, human rights, and humanity.

On November 23rd, at 11 a.m., an All Religions Conference will be held, where people from different religions, communities, and ideologies will share their views on unity, brotherhood, and human rights. This conference demonstrates that Sikh history is not just the history of the Sikh community, but a message for all humanity: protecting others, standing up for truth, and respecting all opinions. In the evening, a guided tour of Virasat-e-Khalsa and associated important monuments will be organized, allowing people to experience their roots, traditions, and history firsthand. A drone show at night will further enhance the beauty of the event. Through lighting, the martyrdom of the Guru Sahiban, the legacy of the Khalsa Panth, and the glory of Punjab will be depicted in a modern way.

For three days, an atmosphere of Katha, Kirtan, Bhakti, Sangat, and Seva will be created, ensuring that every attendee leaves with even greater respect for the Guru Sahibans. People have deep reverence for this gathering. Everyone believes that the Punjab government has truly honored the sentiments of all of Punjab by deciding to celebrate this event with such dignity and grandeur. This gathering is not just an occasion to remember history, but an opportunity to embrace the spirit that makes Sikhism a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and humanity throughout the world.
