Narendra Modi, on behalf of NDA, started the campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha election in Jamui, Bihar delivering a zest for Lok Janshakti party president, (Ram Vilas) Chirag Paswan who is a recent inductee in the alliance. Speaking at a massive public rally in Jamui, Modi expressed confidence in the people of Bihar, stating their determination to secure victory for the NDA across all 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state and over 400 seats nationwide.
Modi appreciated Chirag Paswan by calling him a young brother and hailed his ability to take the reins after the former’s scarce passing. The rally demonstrated the strength of the NDA’s coalition, the party leaders from all NDA constituents parties in Bihar gathered at the platform. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a former defiant leader who kept a low profile lately, came up to the stage side by side with the Prime Minister to sweat off the enervating heat.
Chirag Paswan appreciated Modi‘s choice of Jamui, the constituency where his party is contesting, for the rally venue. In addition, senior party leaders Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, both BJP members, and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha of Rashtriya Lok Morcha were also there.
