On Thursday, Nayab Singh Saini was chosen as the leader of the legislative party of the Bharatiya Janata Party BJP in Haryana, which will make him the next chief minister of the state. Anil Vij and Krishan Bedi favored him during a meeting of new BJP MLAs in Panchkula at the BJP’s office. Some of the dignitaries who were in attendance were the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, and the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, who served as central observers for the entire election process. Other key personalities in the rally included Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, state BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, and co-in-charge Biplab Deb.
After being unanimously elected as Haryana’s BJP legislative party leader, Saini thanked the central leadership and said, “On behalf of the people of this state, I welcome Amit Shah. I am very happy that the central leadership provided four in charge to make a whooping win for the BJP in Haryana for the third time.”
The BJP is geared to meet Gov Bandaru Dattatreya at Haryana Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh to stake claim at around 2 PM Today. In the latest assembly elections, the BJP emerged victorious in 48 out of the 90 seats in the assembly for the third consecutive time, with the Congress claiming 37 seats. The results were released on October 8.
Nayab Singh Saini is confirmed to be sworn in on Thursday, the 17th of October, with the honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, present in the event. BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh and Haryana affairs in-charge Satish Poonia also held a different meeting in Panchkula before the event. This involved inspecting the Dussehra ground, where the ceremony is to be held; the security here has been tight.
