Bhopal: BJP State President, Vishnu Dutt Sharma, has taken a swipe at Congress National General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi, for making six guarantees to the people in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He accused both Priyanka and her brother, Rahul Gandhi, of spreading false promises and illusions during election campaigns. Sharma emphasized that the Congress failed to fulfill their previous promises to farmers, youth, and women when they formed the government. He stated that despite the Congress’s attempts to deceive the people once again, the citizens have become aware of their lies.

Sharma also criticized the Congress for being limited to one family, with Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi trying to save the party. He emphasized the influence of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in Madhya Pradesh. Commended the successful implementation of various developmental initiatives by both the central and state governments, which have brought about positive changes, in the lives of people.

Furthermore, Sharma targeted Priyanka Gandhi for seeking a list of scams in Madhya Pradesh, suggesting that it was not found because of the alleged corruption within the Congress party. He accused the previous Kamal Nath-led government of being involved in brokerage activities and stated that under the BJP’s governance, Madhya Pradesh has transformed from a “bimaru” (underdeveloped) state to a developed one.

In general, Sharma’s comments indicate the competition, between the BJP and Congress, in Madhya Pradesh. Both parties are striving for support. Questioning each other’s assertions and deeds.
