The process of preparing the Simhastha 2028 which is scheduled to take place in Ujjain has already commenced and chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given an assurance that the recent cancelation of the process of land pooling among the farmers will not have any impact on the grand event. On the importance of the shortening Simhastha, he opined that it was a source of pride to Madhya Pradesh that the largest religious congress in the world would be held in Ujjain. All preparations are being done with the highest seriousness he stressed that everything is planned to make the event in Ujjain and indeed in the state an absolute success.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Ujjain, being a religious and ancient city, will have a variety of religious and cultural as well as knowledge based shows in Simhastha 2028. He also mentioned that the event will be spectacular, and that there will be extensive participation of the devotees, scholars and saints. Dr. Yadav stated that the government was in consultation with the saints and religious leaders to ensure all their issues were addressed and traditions of Simhastha will not be spoiled but agreement should be made with them to give all modern facilities.
Regarding his concerns on the issue of farmers, he explained that there is a commitment among the government to see that they do their best in developing them. Although the land pooling will not be done, other plans will be put in place to sustain the farmers as well as the needs of the event.
The district administration has already made a number of decisions that would enhance future arrangements of Simhastha. As the Chief Minister claimed, the government has no financial limits and is all set to host a historic world event. We will also manage all the areas of management efficiently and dedicatedly. Everything concerning the world largest fair would be carried out with utmost priority, he said.
They believe that simhastha 2028 will provide an incredible combination of spirituality, culture, and the involvement of a great number of people in the community and be one of the most memorable in recent decades.
