Khandwa: An unfortunate road accident was reported in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. On the Indore-Ichhapur Highway near Mortakka, a container truck got involved in an accident with a scooter. In this particular case, a young woman was killed, while two other persons were critically injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment. From the information obtained here, it can be deduced that the container truck driver ran away from the accident scene. After that, the local police reached the scene and shifted two severely injured people to Sanawad Hospital for treatment. While incident was reported, police have registered an FIR and the body of the dead woman was sent for an autopsy.
There are still some discrepancies regarding how the accident happened in the first place. As of now, the Mortakka police have arrived at the accident scene, seized the Container truck and towed it to the police station. A proper probe into the entire issue is ongoing.
