Jabalpur: Disaster struck on Monday morning in Jabalpur in the central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh, where an unlawful sand mine pit fell short of the ground, burying three workers with a woman killed among them. The eventual collapse led to agitation in the area, therefore informing the police of the unfortunate incident. They promptly responded to the scene and started work on an operation to rescue people.

The incident took place in a village by the name of Ramkheria in a police station named Gosalpur. From writings, the sources show that three working labourers were injured and have been taken to a nearby hospital; there is also a large crowd that thronged the area. All the dead and injured labourers were also passed away from the Katra village in New Tehsil, Chenab Nagar. To date, it has been possible to identify three human remains that were swept away by the sand mine collapse. It realized that there were three persons seriously injured and one person missing in the accident.

The tragic accident occurred when about a dozen of the residents of Katra Ramkheriya village were on the riverbank mining sand that is used in the construction of this temple in the village. When both the man and the woman started working, one section of the dune gave in, enveloping the equivalent of nine villagers. The village fates were summed up by three people, a woman and two men, who were killed on the spot.
