Bhopal. The proceedings of the monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly began at 11 am. As MLAs arrived in the House, Congress continued its protest in the Assembly regarding OBC reservation. Congress MLAs arrived with cutouts of a chameleon. There is a demand for a 27 percent reservation for the OBC category. The opposition said that the ban on 13 percent reservation is an injustice to the OBC category.
Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said that the traditions that are banned in the assembly will be seen in the session. BJP wants the OBC vote, but does not want to give them their rights. Farmers are not getting their rights in the state. Atrocities on tribals and Dalits are increasing continuously. Congress MLA Nitendra Singh Rathore, who reached the assembly, said that the party will raise the voice of the people in the house with full force. It will raise all the issues from the tap water scam. There has been a huge irregularity in the money.
Congress MLA Mahesh Parmar said that BJP leaders are entering Mahakal temple by bullying. The opposition will raise this issue in the House. Preparations for Simhastha are going on, but BJP leaders are forcibly entering the sanctum sanctorum. Meanwhile, the reply will be presented in the High Court today in the case of hiding the criminal case against Congress MLA Mukesh Malhotra. On this, Malhotra said that we have not hidden any crime, whatever the case is, it was mentioned in the nomination form. It was also duly reported in the media. Speaking on OBC reservation, BJP MLA Shailendra Jain said that Congress should apologize. Congress did not even present the case of OBC class properly in the court while it was in power. It even opposed OBC reservation. Congress should apologize in this matter.
