Gwalior: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived here on Friday night to address and guide a four-day Ghosh Shivir (musical bands camp) of the Sangh. The camp is being held at Saraswati Shishu Mandir on Shivpuri link road since Thursday, senior RSS functionary Ashok Pandey said in a release.
At least 500 instrumentalists from 31 districts of RSS Madhya Pradesh Bharat Pranth will participate at the camp, he said. Last week, Bhagwat attended “Ghosh Pradarshan”, a programme or demonstrating musical instruments by band members in Chhattisgarh, part of RSS’s Madhya Kshetra (MP and Chhattisgarh), signalling that the organisation wants to bring in more musical harmony into shakhas.
On Saturday, at 4.30 PM, Bhagwat will visit the Rashtriya Utthan Nyas, the union office located on New Road. After which, at 5.30 PM, he will attend a program organized in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of the University. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will reach Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport Maharajpura by state plane at around 4 PM. CM will stay in Gwalior on November 27th. During his stay in Gwalior city, the Chief Minister will attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Swadesh at the Atal Auditorium of Jiwaji University as the chief guest. CM Chouhan will leave for Bhopal at 7.30 PM after participating in other local programs.
