The Revenue Mega Campaign 3.0 was started on 15th November in Madhya Pradesh to dispose of the revenue cases that remain pending in the state.
Dr Mohan Yadav, the Chief of the State, said that it would continue up to December 15 and be aimed at all 55 districts of the state. The emphasis will be laid on steps to remove the accumulated backlog of pending cases of registry of land records and mutations, etc.
Before, two previous similar campaigns for revenue cases were made, and both of them elicited good outcomes. In the previous campaigns, about 80 lakh revenue cases were settled, and of the remaining 20.46 lakh mutation cases, 18 lakh were uncontested. At present, there are approximately 2.26 lakh cases pending, which the ongoing campaign deals with.
The operational modalities of the campaign have been communicated as extensive memoranda to all the District Collectors to facilitate implementation. Dr Mohan Yadav reiterated that the state government delivers the total solutions for farmers and other beneficiaries. The campaign is going to benefit a significant number of the population by helping the government resolve the old cases of revenues more quickly.
The Chief Minister also called on those who have pending issues with various offices to go and avail of the program and solve their problems. He guaranteed that the officials would closely supervise the progress of the campaign, and therefore the campaign would be successful. To increase everyone’s awareness, commissioners and collectors have been directed to engage and supervise the activities.
Also, Dr. Yadav urged people to report their problems at the tehsils or any other forums to enable expeditious actions. The Revenue Mega Campaign 3.0 is intended to enhance administrative effectiveness and provide justice, in conformity with the government’s policy on a people’s friendly administration in Madhya Pradesh.
