Dhar: A major mishap has taken place in Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, where a pickup vehicle that was carrying workers was involved in an accident that led to serious injuries to 12 workers. This unfortunate scene happened near the village Sitapath, which was under the police station Dhar. As the reports were received, it was mentioned that the bloomer-loaded pickup truck overturned, and in the process, some of the laborers onboard got injured.

The accident occurred in the morning at about 8 AM when laborers were on their way from the village to harvest soybean crops. Once the report of the accident was received, the police were instructed to reach the scene of the event expediently, and the injured employees were then ferried to the hospital for treatment. They were taken to Bhoj Hospital in Dhar, where medical attendants started evaluating and managing patients’ injuries.

Doctors managing the injured patients, especially Dr. Chhatrapal Singh, said all of them only had minor injuries. Fortunately, they are not fatal injuries, and they are undergoing the right treatment right now.

This is a perfect example of the dangers that workers experience, especially during the harvesting season when many of them move from home to fields using vehicles that are not created to transport many people at a time. In this case, local authorities will have to conduct an investigation into the events leading to the accident with a view to preventing such incidents in the future.

People have also tried standing up for the injured workers, and the families of the affected workers are concerned and supported emotionally during this time. In the next phase, the care of the workers will be taken, and other concerns that led to the laborer’s suffering or such a crash will be handled. The event is a strong message to such people and a lesson in the importance of safe roads, especially those in agriculture.
