Madhya Pradesh: An official stated Thursday that over 15.79 lakh individuals were vaccinated against Covid-19 during a mega campaign organised by the Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday. According to the official, a total of 15,79,432 people received the vaccine at 12,160 vaccination centres across the state till 8 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the source, the state administration has set a goal of vaccinating the entire eligible population over the age of 18 with both doses of the vaccine by the end of December.

So far, at least 8,80,61,615 doses have been administered to eligible beneficiaries in the state, according to data released by the state health department. It was reported that 5,12,16,211 persons had received the first dosage of the vaccination, while 3,68,45,404 had received both doses.

Meanwhile, the number of Covid-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh has risen to 7,93,187, according to a health official, after 17 new cases were discovered on Wednesday. The death toll now stands at 10,528, with 7,82,535 recoveries, leaving 124 ongoing cases in the state, according to the official.
