Khandwa: During the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a Tiranga Yatra was held in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Starting from the police control room, the procession included a lively demonstration of police and administrative staff patriotism. This was accompanied by the policeman’s band and three school bands, making the occasion rather colorful and joyous. The program was attended by many dignitaries, including the Khandwa officials, such as Collector Anoop Kumar Singh IAS and the Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rai, along with other police personnel or officers etc.
The Tiranga Yatra was considered to involve different groups like Safety guards, home guards, national cadets, scouts, Red Cross, and Shourya Dal groups with a representation of the Indian flag. The procession passed through city-specific identified landmarks such as Toran, Kaharwadi, Bajrang Chowk, Jalebi Chowk, Municipal Corporation, Ghantaghar, Kevalram Chauraha, Railway station, Bus stand and ended at the police control room.
Again, at many places in the cities, the people demonstrated how much they wanted the vehicles to come that way by showering the passage with flowers. The willingness of individuals to get involved and the response from society proved the effectiveness of the event in terms of expressing nationalism among the public.
This was not only the celebration of the national flag but also the unity of the people of the city together towards the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The event by police officials highlighted the values of participating in the life of the community and the culture of pride for the Indian flag, marking segments of the community in unison with the Indian tricolor.
