SEONI: NIA on Saturday detained two out of the three accused in connection to terror funding to ISISI in Seoni. The probe agency has alleged that the three have hatched a conspiracy to further terrorist activities of banned organisation Islamic State of Syria and Iraq (ISIS) and to disturb the unity, security and sovereignty of the country and to wage war against India.

As per inputs, huge number of books, electronic devices like mobile phones, hard disc, pen drive, SD card and many other documents from the houses of both the accused.

The two detained are identified as Mohammad Aziz and Shoeb. One of the accused runs a Madarsa and another runs a furniture shop.

SP Seoni Ramji Shrivastava in a media interaction revealed that the police were updated about the involvement of the two accused in the 2022 terror funding case.

In pursuit of investigation leads of case number 46/2022 registered at NIA’s Delhi headquarters, the agency launched a raid acting on a tip off and searched multiple locations.
