Indore: On December 11th, National Lok Adalat will be organized at Corporation Headquarters and Zonal Offices, Registrar Office from 10 AM to late night. In this, up to 100% exemption will be available in the surcharge of property tax and water tax. At the same time, in such cases of property tax in which the amount of tax and surcharge exceeds fifty thousand rupees and in case of arrears up to one lakh rupees, a rebate of up to 50% in surcharge will be given. In such cases of property tax in which the amount of tax and surcharge is more than one lakh rupees, a rebate of up to 25 per cent in surcharge will be given. Cases of Jalkar in which the amount of tax and surcharge exceeds Rs. 100 per cent rebate in surcharge will be given in case of outstanding up to Rs 10,000 and more than Rs 10,000 and up to Rs 50,000 in a surcharge.
In such cases of Jalkar in which the amount of tax and surcharge is more than Rs 50,000, only a 50 per cent exemption in surcharge will be given. The amount can be deposited in a maximum of two instalments after exemption in the National Lok Adalat organized at the corporation headquarters and zonal office on December 11th, 2021. Out of which at least 50 per cent amount will be mandatory to be deposited on the day of Lok Adalat.
