Raipur: The Madhya Pradesh government is to go for the celebration of Raksha Bandhan at a larger scale this time. It was announced that from today until August 15, a number of state-level programs will be hosted across the province. During this period Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be in direct communication with women and would be joining different activities.
Tomorrow, Rani Durgavati Women Sarpanch Conference will be organised at the residence of the Chief Minister in which women sarpanches of the state will participate. This event forms one of the activities that are carried out during the preparations for the Raksha Bandhan festival. Also, on August 10, Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated in 25000 places all over the state.
Finally, the big step to be taken will be that Chief Minister Yadav will transfer ₹1,900 crore to the accounts of the Ladli sisters in the Vijaypur constituency as the by-elections will be held soon. It means that this large sum of money is intended for empowering women and, therefore, fully responds to the objectives of the government.
Therefore, Dr. Yadav has said that on August 10, Raksha Bandhan, the festival will be celebrated in 25 thousand different places. This way, the sisters will be able to receive the funds at their banks with a click of a button, thereby improving the timely support. This endeavour reveals the government’s commitment to raising the profile of the festival and offering sizable financial support to women in the state.
The celebration is not only intended to commemorate this traditional festival but also to remind the state’s obligations and concerns for women’s advancement and financial support again. By way of these activities, hence, Madhya Pradesh is laying a satisfactory benchmark for Cross-Cultural parity that can foster substantial social welfare measures along with events related to our popular festivals.
