The Madhya Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2023 results are out, but the issue has now become political. The Congress party has expressed concerns on the examination results and stated that the government response is required.
Former Union Minister Arun Yadav expressed displeasure in a post on X. He asked the government in his post why the result of 13 percent of the OBC candidates has been withheld. He said the ruling party has been repeatedly neglectful towards the OBC community and dealt with their future like a toy.
On Wednesday, he pointed out that the results for police constable recruitment 2023 were released by the Employees Selection Board (ESB), and out of the 27 per cent OBC reservation provided by the previous Congress government, the result of 13 per cent of OBC candidates were withheld without any official clarification. The candidates alleged that only 6,446 results were announced out of 7,500 sanctioned posts, and almost a thousand results of OBC candidates had yet to be declared.
The BJP-led state government has been criticized by Arun Yadav, who demanded transparency on why the results of these candidates were kept back on the basis of which. He also asked about how long the BJP government would continue its apparently discriminatory take against the OBC community.
Congress leaders allege the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is blocking such actions, which they say is a party anti-reservation stand and against the minorities. The political controversy has pitted opposition parties against the government that has failed to offer a clear response. Meanwhile, affected candidates and their followers are also looking for a clarion and justice in the matter.
The issue has gained pace, and all eyes are now trained on the state’s next move and whether this will be an adequate explanation.
